HIT workout

Ive heard nothing but good things about HIT for developing strength, but i was wondering how it affects muscle growth, ie will i get bigger from a HIT workout? Also has anyone any experience with HIT? could you recommend me any workouts.

People have suggested doing one set per muscle group till failure but i was looking for a more in depth explanation.

as far as I know, HIT is actually known more for size than strength. In fact it's been bashed here for poor strength development. I think it's all crap- work hard, work smart, and don't overdo it, you'll get bigger and stronger.
