All I will say is that I would be VERY surprised if anyone ever got a clean KO on Mark Hunt.

Yep correct. Every strike that lands involves a lot of variables...how much does a guy roll with it? What angle does it land? Where does it land SPECIFICALLY? How much penetration (my attempt at derailing this thread into one about porn) is involved? Which direction are the fighters moving in?

Honestly, I've been pretty disappointed with Samoans in combat sports. Tua is too lazy to throw enough punches, Hunt is too lazy to get into shape and make a big impact on his sport, Matua..well he's immmortalized for the WRONG reason.
I remember watching FutureBrawl in Hawaii in 1995. It was in a tiny ass bar next to the airport named Gussie La'mours (sp?!?). TJ Thompson was running it, and it was pure bloodsport. J.R. Palmer fought these two big ass Samoans back to back and beat BOTH their asses. No heart whatsoever. As soon as they got a little tired and it got tough, they tapped.
We're just the same as any other ethnic group of people; some with great heart, some without.......only we're usually a bit larger than other people.
