I have been involved with wrestling all my life and in my humble opinion, Olympic wrestling does not translate as well to MMA as either folkstyle or combat sombo. In addition, Yoel seems reluctant to use the wrestling skills he has and has fallen in love with striking. This is a common occurrence since the strikes draw the ooh’s and ah’s from the crowd. Figuring in age, training conditions and walk around weight … I would have to go with Khazmat if it’s three rounds and Yoel if it’s five. Would be a great fight. If z Khazmat can rag doll Yoel then I don’t see anyone beating him.

Is there a reason Yoel never wrestles? Is he afraid he will gas out if he goes heavy with the wrestling?
