In my opinion, Hughes will easily beat Serra.... take him to the ground and have his way with him, and yes, I know Serra's BJJ is very good.
Problem to me, Serra is just too small.... his best shot against Hughes is to catch him with haymaker before he is slammed to the ground like he did against GSP.....
What are the URLs for these gambling websites? Can someone please help me out? I've avoided betting on fights except for friendly wagers, but with -400 odds, I think it's time for me to make the leap.
www.bookmaker.com (this is the CRIS book for Americans) is probably the best, especially if you bet big and can really win. They have never been known to drop anyone. I have collected a ton of money from them via courier check and my checks usuaully arrive in 2 or 3 days. There are a number of ways to put money in, and they cover all fees.
"G&P? This is where I assume you think it will happen and I'd agree, if it happens, this will be it (maybe by cut) but I don't think you can appreciate how hard it will be for Hughes to hold Serra in place for a G&P. Serra has short powerfull limbs and great, as in top notch, jiu-jitsu. He's going to be very hard to hold in place."
Granted it's been a long time since I watched the fight and I may be thinking of a different fight but didn't Karo GnP Serra pretty good when they fought?
serra is'nt that small...he'll match up well as far as size goes with hughes...hughes couldnt finish chris lytle on the ground...and his bjj is a fuckin galaxy away from serras.
No mismatch..
I think it will be a great fight, no unprepared fighter, in this case Hughes for Serra this time around.
Hughes has more Championship caliber wins on his resume and this experience coupled with his size and strength advantage will keep him on top and in control most of the fight. . Yes I do think Hughes will be ready for the super hard haymakers from Serra and will avoid them and get it to the ground. G&P, UD victory for Matt Hughes.
only thing funnier then Hughes trying to act like an intellectual jock is that other mongoloid in his camp. It is really playing out like an 80's movie with Serra and his band of lil giants taking down the big guy. Serra was even good filling in for Dana.
I think Serra has worse wrestling and BJJ than BJ. That being said I think Hughes is going to take Serra immediately down and sit in half guard and drop elbows. I don't think Serra has the wrestling to get out from under Hughes' base.
"Well if Mikey is willing to put three months salary on Serra maybe I need to rethink this as I see Hughes by any way he wants."
LMAO at these kind of statements, I don't use money or fighting ability... to justify me self worth, but clearly here it seems to be the case,..Stil hoping that money or toughness can bluff your way through life?....I have both and they mean nothing
FightingMajor, thanks for the info. I opened an account at bookmaker.com, and placed a bet on Serra at -370. And I was gonna bet a few people on this Forum for even money, too. Good shit.
