Hugo Duarte: Luta Livre

Tape 4 from Fureys' Farmer Burns series. 2001

Tape 4 of the Rio videos set from 97'

A few from Kimo up next. GAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ha, if anyone wants to watch the above Bas tape better hurry or download it for later,  Glory kickboxing has filed like 20 copyright infringements on it. Strangely nothing on the other Bas tape or even on an actual glory event. BTW, none of these uploads are monitized or even publicly searchable on youtube.

stupid question...but how does one download it off youtube?

Wow, I have never laid eyes on Viele before! I was always curious about those tapes too. No longer. lol.

But I always assumed he was a Brazilian guy? No?

--What's his actual training background? Anyone know?

If you use firefox there's quite a few different free add-on youtube downloaders. I'm sure with chrome as well.

CRRRRRAAAAACCCKKKKK!!!!

Better yet, call him and ask him how long he trained and who gave him his black belt and the title of "master" in Japanese/Brazilian Ju-jitsu.

Last tape of the Schwartz judo series from 93'.

Haven't got to Kimo yet.

^ Not that anyone cares, but.. I used to see Kimo all the time, often eating spaghetti.  Pretty sure his GF worked at the pizza place in Westwood Village (UCLA Area) we often went to for lunch. Saw him a bunch of times. Never talked to him though. I really don't like to bother other people and, honestly, I just didn't have anything to say to him.

Google only found these on one karate supply site, that appears a bit outdated, so i don't think they are being sold anymore either. A very good panther series from 99.

Oleg's first tape from 96' .  This tape launched a few legends.

In Phone Post 3.0

How about the John Lewis and Andre Pedenarais series with Igor Zinoviev. I have that 6 tape series. A lot of good moves.

I didn't get that one. $300 for 6 tapes was a little to steep. It bothers me still to this day, much like the 1st Carlson jr/Rei Diego set that got away

The bonus tape that came with Renzo's advanced Black Belt Series. From 97' .

Awesome Phone Post 3.0

Is there still good stuff to learn from in these old tapes or are they more for nostalgia/entertainment purposes?
