I did reveal it but there may have been a miscommunication that he thought I was coming to teach a seminar and not to fight with him in my new ruleset. My last text yesterday was “One more thing sorry. I can’t do head contact so would you be cool sparring with my new points system?” He usually takes a couple of days to respond so we’ll see but my back up plan is to pay for a private lesson at Nick Cottone’s MMA and spar with one of their up and comers.

I actually like Master Lukey’s ideas and feel they should be implemented for an amateur style MMA league to allow some serious skills and control being developed and not burn out fighters before they get to a professional level.
Having said that, I don’t see eye to eye on many other things with him.
