Interesting Injury.. Never had it before.

So I have a weird injury to my elbow, I do not know if its tendonitis or what.

First off let me start by saying that I live in the Caribbean so I cannot see a reliable doctor.. I am not kidding some of the medical practices down here are.. laughable at best.

The problem is when I do overhead tri extentions I get a really bad stabbing pain in my elbow. it happens with Skull crushers too..

ITs just one elbow, when I bench I can feel it during my warmup sets but it goes away after I've warmed up sufficiently.     I feel it at no other time, not even when grappling.. Only during this specific movement..     But once I stress it I can feel it for a few hours.. I've stayed away from that type of movement for a couple weeks..  Today I did double overhead tri extentions and I can still feel it.. its not as bad..     Did I just strain a tendon or anyhting?

There is no swelling or any weird feel to my elbow, it does not crack or pop when I move it.

Since there is not much pain I am not too worried and figure I should stay away from those types of movements for a month or two..  I've already adapted my workout to get my tri's in using different extercises that cause me no pain

any thoughts?

There's a nerve that is put under stress by those exercise as well as dips. Sounds like you have "pinched" it or something,

Someone probably knows the medical details a lot better than I and can chip in. Phone Post

Taking a stab in the dark here.. Sounds like "tennis elbow". Seems silly but it hurts. I have had it before, same type issues. You can google some stretches for it, also can get a brace for your forearm. Like I said seems silly but it's a good possibility, if it kind of effects your grip also when it's inflamed then it's definitely the issue. Phone Post

I don't mind. Message me any questions you want. Phone Post

I don't know. My grip strength is fine. Was doing deadlifts with no issue today. It ONLY hurts doing skull crushers and over head tri extensions (1 arm). Phone Post
