DuPlessis is 6th seed, fights like a drunk man, and very favorable fight for Izzy. Izzy will embarrass him as well as the other carefully selected potential opponents. They’re trying to sell this fight with so called story and artificial beef of “who’s the real African,” which is manipulative and ridiculous.
You really are on a crusade against izy aren’t you. The guy just had one of the most impressive comeback wins in ufc history and you keep making post after post calling him a bitch. Alex is voluntarily going to 205. Izy is gonna fight someone else.
Izzy is an active fighter. Probably the only champion that might realistically fight 3 times a year. I say give him the highest ranked fighter with the best winning streak and keep the activity going.

I don’t really have any interest in seeing the Du Plessis fight, as I feel it’s a squash match. But I do like Dricus, and it would be an exciting fight. Izzy wants to be active.
That’s the most interesting fight for sure and the biggest challenge. I think they will meet again, probably at 205. How epic would it be if Alex won the belt at light heavyweight and Izzy moved up to challenge him.
