                    <blockquote>

"Of course, I want to do better, but I don't go back to every single little fight continuously and say, 'We did this here, and we didn't do this,'" Jackson told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com). "It's more of an overall sense of it."

"I want to do better when we have stellar years," he said. "There's never a year when it's like, 'Man, we nailed it.' Because I would be bored if we did."

Jackson notes that because his fighters are competing at a higher level – dozens of them have fought or currently fight in the UFC – they're also fighting tougher competition, and that means more potential for decisions.

Still, he said he's always trying to evaluate what's working and what isn't when his students fight.

"You constantly have to be aware of, 'Are we going through a slump? What do we need to do to reinvigorate ourselves? Are we getting too cocky? Are we getting complacent?'" he said. "It's a constant process, and it takes place almost every month."

"I think it's been popular (to bash Jackson-Winkeljohn) for the past five years, and I think that comes with success," he said. "I think if you have a lot of success, there are going to be people that don't like what you do.

"People don't have to agree with my decisions either, but they are not in my position. They don't have to deal with things I deal with. They can disagree with what I say, but I believe in our team.

Boring point fighting tactics Also breed criticism . Phone Post

hates gon hate the success

Greg Jackson is slowly transforming one of the most exciting fighters the world has ever seen (Jon Jones that is) into a decisinator.

Look what he did to GSP - a guy nicknamed "Rush" for finishing his opponents in a jiffy. He turned him into a blanket and made him so desperate that he quit the camp in a hope for a fuckin finish in a fight.

Thank god Greg isn't a head trainer of Anderson Silva, cuz he would make a Bisping out of him.

Yet Jackson fighters have some of the best finishing ratios in the UFC Phone Post

In before somebody directs you to that "statistical breakdown" of all of the camps that was obviously relying on erroneous data.

can't believe there aren't more Jackson memes with that smug little smile of his Phone Post

GSP is the UFC's biggest draw.
Yet hordes of educated, hardcores mma fans find him boring as hell to watch. Who are these millions of people buying the PPVs then?

Until Team Jackson raises its finishing rate by 3.81% I'm not giving them props. Real fans demand statistical satisfaction first and foremost.

men who want to see him lose, and their wives who want to have sex with him Phone Post

People that complain about Jackson's should stop watching MMA! The game has changed from one or two mixed styles! There are 7 or 8 consistent styles that are blended into MMA. Jackson's just takes the science of those arts and incorporates them into a perfect plan for a fighter! Plus you can't blame him for the fighters! GSP hasn't been the same since the Serra loss! It made him a little passive aggressive!

Moreover when you blend a lot of styles it could look really great like GSP and Jones or a complete slop mess of a fight! I would rather watch those guys because proper footwork an athletics! Some people just want to see Stephan Bonnar and Forrest Griffin everytime out. That is horrendous! The object of a fight is to scientifically break your opponent without taking punishment to WIN no matter the outcome of the finish!

Learn to beat them! And the days of brawlers are over! James Toney and Lesnar both looked retarted in the cage of being one demenisional ! I want the Coutures GSP, Andersons, Jones , Aldo's Edgar's and Velasquezs !

Rules changed the game also!

Only in MMA are the technicians and strategists not appreciated, they are hated on.

In boxing, Floyd is considered a master and even haters of his persona respect and appreciate the skill he displays in the ring.

In kickboxing, Giorgio Petrosyan is the same thing.

In BJJ, Garcia....fagedaboutit.

In Judo, obviously.

In MMA, you try to be technical....watch the fck out.

Yet hordes of educated, hardcore music fans find Rihanna a phenomenal "artist" to listen to.
