Dan the Wolfman has forgotten more about fighting than all those guys combined knowledge.
Well surely then you would think the opinion of an Olympic Gold Medalist and 2 Division UFC Champion like Henry Cejudo is greater than your own by your standards you are setting hereā¦.
Here he is quoted and echoing the views in this thread:
āWhen we talk about goat mountain, Khabib is not a part of the GOAT mountain in combat sports. Heās not a part of Iām not even part of GOAT mountain to be quite honest with you,* ā said Cejudo in an interview with Helen Yee.ā
āItās Demetrious Johnson, Jon Jones. Anderson Silva. GSP,* ā he added.
Confusing quote(s), heās talking MMA Goat & Combat Sports Goat. Very unclear what he is actually saying:
Nurmagomedov might not have made Cejudoās list of the greatest MMA fighters of all time, but he was included in the list of the greatest combat athletes of all time. āTriple-Cā made yet another Mount Rushmore where he gave himself the No.1 spot, and the likes of Nurmagomedov, Daniel Cormier, and Fabricio Werdum made the cut
The complete quote is not the clearest but his MMA Mount Rushmore was pretty clearā¦ GSP, Demetrious Johnson, Jon Jones, and Anderson Silva.
bullshit
true goats fight through their prime and remain competitive after it
GSP retired after years of dominance, having among the best strength of schedule of any fighter in history.
I forgot about Mighty Mouse. His nickname was his Archilles tendon
Tttt for the khabib fucktards

If Aldo can capture the title again, he is the GOAT. Somehow, people have forgot about him after the McGregor fight. That was a once in a lifetime KO and changed the trajectory of his career forever. However, he has done more since that loss than McGregor and is currently on a run that seems to have him back in contention. I hope he gets another shot and wins the title. A couple defenses and that should cement his legacy at the top.
Not only did Khabib dip out earlier like someone said but he fought a bunch of unknown nobodies way deeper into his career as well. I see no (good) way to argue him over Aldo.
Good to see Aldo getting his due in GOAT convos because him and also DJ are the 2 most underrated in the convo. That said I suspect a lot of the Khabib haters are coming out to pile on too.
Yes what Aldo has done since the Connor loss on top of his legendary title reign prior should easily put him in GOAT convos.
Since the Connor loss heās beaten:
ā¢ beat Frankie who was surging and looking as good as he has in his career
ā¢ beat Jeremy Stephens by TKO
ā¢ beat Moicano by TKO
ā¢ loss to Moraes, arguably could have won
ā¢ loss to Yan but looked good
ā¢ beaten Cheeto
ā¢ beaten Munoz
ā¢ beaten Font
So aside from Frankie, he hasnāt had a huge win but looked very good against good but not great opposition. He has lost to all the top guys since (Max, Volk, Moraes, Yan).
Iām not sure how he does vs Sterling as Sterling is young and big for a BW and doesnāt rely on blast doubles like Aldo was so good at defending in his hey-day.

Not loosing isnāt an accomplishment. Potential not acted on does not equal real accomplishments. It only gives indications of what might have happen. Aldo had the guts to make the journey. Khabib did not.
He also ducked Aldo.
Got screwed real bad by UFC by not giving immediate rematch with McGregor. Shame he wasnāt given another opportunity later on as well, if for nothing else, the big bucks that he deserve more than possibly anyone else in recent MMA history.
Didnāt Conor leave 145 right after winning the belt
