Obviously i dont agree. Jacare has beaten nobody, he won the Strikeforce belt against Tim Kennedy because Shields left, he defended it against Robbie Lawler and then got his ass kicked by Luke Rockhold who was the first real opponent he fought at 185.

Mousasi might be the most overrated fighter on the UG right now. When he fought OSP, he was so tired by the third that OSP won the round off him. Gustafsson prob by 5 round dec.
You'd be tired too if you fought someone who was that much bigger than you, he out wrestled him the first two rounds. Reversed transitions on OSP and the ref had a bullshit stand up when mousasi was in the middle of throwing punches.

Gus beating Shogun doesnt give your opinion credibility. Gus is a massive LHW that has only 1 loss at the highest levels of the sport. He was a betting favourite against Shogun. It was a realistic possibility that he could beat Shogun
Jacare is a MW that fought in a B level feeder promotion and still couldnt beat the 1 top guy in his division. Its not a realistic possibility that Jacare would move up to 205 and beat Shogun, its more like you daydreaming while sipping on your Acai. He would be a massive betting underdog

Massive ? I doubt it. Jacare is a monster. But never the less I agree somewhat. Mousasi is no can. Gus will have his hands full.

I don't get the Gegard hate. He's not new to the sport and people forget that he's beaten Jacare, Mark Hunt, Babalu, Dong, Hector Lombard, and just last month he beat Mike Kyle.

This is a close fight, but I'm going with Gus. He has much better movement and speed than Gegard. He also has much more impressive wins at LHW.
The first gif shows Gus about 1/8 of an inch away from getting KTFO. Mousasi is way more accurate - hence KO time.
People fail to understand how hard it is to win as many fights as Mousasi has, just from a statistical standpoint, EVEN IF the opposition was crap (and he fought a lot of decent and good fighters, so it's even harder then). He could have gone 22 fights undefeated were it not for shitty judges. Do the math. Assign a probability for him winning each fight (go by odds for instance, where possible), then calculate the cumulative probability, and see how likely the outcome is. He either is the luckiest fighter ever, or he just is one of the best fighters out there. <br />
Thiago is possibly the slowest striker at LHW. I am picking mousasi but would not be unhappy if Gus wins. Seems like a nice guy.
