Kenny Florian out of ufn 23

Kenny is out cause of injury posted on junkie http://mmajunkie.com/news/21645/kenny-florian-injured-forced-to-withdraw-from-ufc-fight-night-23.mma

Sucks hopefully they can get another top Lightweight to step-in on short notice. Maybe even set up a Sherk/Dunham rematch now.

Wow that sucks. Im curious to see who the replacement is going to be. There are a few names out there.

see Sotiropolous/Dunham would be the fight to make here, but instead Sot is stuck with a pointless fight against Siver for the Australia card

would love to see a top tier replacement.

Darn. That would have been a tossup fight.

Move Guillard up to the main event. He's already supposed to fight Edwards on the undercard, he has name value, he's on a hot streak, and he's headlined UFN's before. Not to mention I would imagine it to be quite difficult to get a top tier LW to agree to such a dangerous fight on 1 1/2 month's notice.

And say what you want about his past couple of fights (boring? LOL) but he's been fighting smart and winning. A scrap against Dunham would be a good one and would push the winner closer to a title shot.

Although a Sherk rematch would be more than welcome.

Why on earth would "Guillard" and "title shot" be mentioned in the same sentence?

Because fighters who have won 5 out of 6 in the octagon are generally on their way to a title shot.

Dunham vs. Edson Barboza would be a sick fight. Otherwise, Pellegrino or Lentz don't have fights booked right now.

I actually think this would be a good fight. Guillard and Edwards are friends anyways, so I'm sure Guillard would jump at the chance at fighting Dunham instead.

RickMartelsArrogance - Take McKee out of his fight vs Volkmann and put him in.

 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you cannot be serious.

1. McKee is boring as fuck, regardless of his 2 recent cut stoppages.

2. Nobody outside of the hardcores know who the fuck Antonio McKee is.

caposa - see Sotiropolous/Dunham would be the fight to make here, but instead Sot is stuck with a pointless fight against Siver for the Australia card

Exactly this.

Dunham vs. Barboza please... or just move Guida vs. Gomi into the main event slot

 terrible!

Not when the wins are over guys who have never sniffed a title fight or contender fight themselves.

Sanchez was trying to get a fight with Sherk, but Sherk was too dinged up to fight so soon. Can Sanchez make 155 on short notice?

I hope Dunham gets a great opponent fast. How about an Edson Barboza to put some pressure on both men for their futures..?

Move Dunham to 127 for Sotiropoulous fight Phone Post
