^ They had a match as purple belts.

And I want to see a rematch :)
Me too. The scoring of that match was...
"I'd like to see Bill Cooper vs Kron! "
i dont think bills ready yet from what happend last time.its only been about 8 months
It was very close the first time, I don't see why it couldn't be close if they fought again today.
otavio has a nasty guard man. even though he lost he looked real good. he must have been tired once he got mounted at least it seemed that way. he was trying to defend but not trying to escape.
great job by both guys really.
awesome jiu jitsu by both.
how old is Kron now?
I don't think Otavio was tired, I just think that's the kind of pressure Kron puts on from the mount. Every match I've seen of his ends with his opponent looking squished while mounted.
"i dont think bills ready yet from what happend last time.its only been about 8 months"
the score was either tied or bill was up on my scorecard. i really want to see a rematch.

it already happened at ricksons.glover and bill went
oh i did not know that. im guessing kron won?
seemed like a regular match between two regular guys.
"oh i did not know that. im guessing kron won?"
it wasnt a competion just a visit and some tapping going on.it wasnt kron.
"seemed like a regular match between two regular guys."
Agreed. Rickson is the best ever, but that doesn't leave me starstruck. Kron will have a hard enough time as is to fill the old man's shoes.
for later
12,
You're saying that Cooper and Glover went to train at Rickson's and that Kron got the better of them?
I am absolutely a huge fan of Kron. There is just something special about that guy. His game is incredibly simple and his submission streak is unbelievable. I believe he finished the last 35 or so matches by submission.
Does anyone notice that the Gracie guys almost always play a basic game? Roger doesn't have the typical Barra game like Braulio or PeDePano. Instead, he has the closed guard and mount/back choke game ala Kron. I've never seen any Gracie pull spider guard, x-guard, half guard or do anything "modern." It's really amazing to watch.

Yes I have to agree with this, The ability to play a basic game so effectively is a Gracie thing, you have to give it to them for this, The typical Barra game is fast and they do alot of different techs to get a responce.
There is alot of detail in the simplicity of the way Kron moves, like Roger Kron holds side and mount well, he asked for time and I think this is the reason he did not hold side longer to tire Otavio out even more.
I still think Otavio tried alot of stuff and he has a chance next time, he sounds like he had many fights before this match, which makes a big difference.
Royler played open guard and butterfly guard back in the day.
