Grill might have won that match at purple, he was more aggressive but I was not the ref in that match. It was close either way.

Krons top game is awesome. He handled many precarious attacks by Otavio. Once he got the mount it was over. No defense from this superior position. Looks like Otavio rolled his head to the right and the arm came across the throat. Otavio gave it his best shot. Excellent bottom game . I don't understand what strategy he should of used different? To me his bottom game is his best.

yes I am referring to Octavio's game plan just to clear up my comment. He fought a very good strategy with his submission attempts and sweeps against an excellent top game by Kron. Amazing talent displayed by Kron.

I agree Octavio should have used a different strategy... I think he should have focused on taking Kron down and stalling the fight out like Andre said. It makes for a super boring match, but its easier to win matches like this in bjj, then trying to hit all types of sweeps and giving up positions and passes.

i was about 10 ft away, Otavio gave him the choke after kron crushed his jaw 2 times,i thought he was going to rip the skin off his face.

You're right. I watched it again. You can see the forearm going over the face two times as he closes his arms.
