not quite understanding⌠so youâre reading Randyâs book, and he mentions John Perretti, and that J. Perretti claims to have rolled with Randy, but Randy says thats not true, and he only met with J. Perretti, no rolling ? (p.124)

Oh yeah.
Couture met him for the first time and just shook his hand. The same day, Peretti was telling people that he rolled with Couture. They didnât roll. Sorry for not making that clear.

He comes from a law enforcement background and was being a bully within the conversation
When you want that to stop and let them know that a little respect is needed
You ask a hard question that they wonât answer
In this instance it bacame a stand-off
- whoever spoke first was going to be the âbitchâ in the conversation
Joey came in and broke the tension
- we knew that this was going to happen prior
When we game planned it was to get this interaction out of the way immediately in order that we could maximize our information gathering with him
- we discuss this on the wrap up
Perretti is not for novice interviewers, he will chew them up and spit them out
- while only giving information that he wants to talk about, not what you want

What exactly are Perettiâs martial arts skills and accomplishments as a practitioner?
A black belt from Gene Labell is impressive on itâs own for grappling, but aside having what I assume is a black belt in karate or Taekwondo (given his widely broadcasted picture of a vertical side kick), did he have any known record in striking?
He Claims do have had over 10 concussions in interviews. Some have referred to him as a kickboxer. Never seen video of one of his matches.

I just rewatched some of it and I realized that Ron Van Clief story that he hyped up like it was going to blow our minds went absolutely nowhere.
