XFO? BOTB?
Neither. New promotion, will have both boxing and MMA on the card. Logan can tell you more.
Yes, please let Logan steal one of the stud lightweights from Mainstream!!! Would love to see one of those guys fight up here (Wisely!).
i'm not the promoter

I want to see Wisley vs Keoni!
I want to see Wisley vs. anyone. I've only seen him twice, but he's impressed me both times. Kind of fits the cliche of throwing everything with bad intentions. Fun to watch.

Headlining Mainstream Mixed Martial Arts 9, “NEW ERA” will be defending Lightweight Champion, Joe “The Triangular Strangular” Pearson… putting his belt on the line against a young and hungry “New Breed” named Erik Koch!
Pearson comes in as the more seasoned fighter, with international fighting experience backed by the world-renowned Miletich Fighting Systems. Pearson will enter the cage with extreme confidence after taking the Lightweight Championship in January from the tough and experienced John Strawn with his signature (and flashy) flying triangle choke. This champion is known as a submission specialist, but be aware: Pearson is a well-rounded fighter-- dangerous from any position, plus he’s got the ability to highlight the night with a KO at any time.
Currently undefeated, challenger Erik Koch has been dubbed the “New Breed” due to his phenomenal fighting ability at the tender age of only 19. Koch has earned his #1 contendership status through dominating the Mainstream Mixed Martial Arts scene with four straight wins since his debut in January of 2006. Despite Koch’s age, he’s a highly developed and disciplined competitor, and he feels the time is right for him to claim his first championship title… and incidentally adding Pearson’s name to the growing list of victims on his resume.
This championship bout promises a high energy jui-jitsu showdown… both fighters being submission experts known for finishing fights in true “highlight” fashion!
Headlining along side the Lightweight Championship will be a Middleweight showdown for the vacant Middleweight Championship featuring Tom Grubb vs. Brian Monaghan. After winning the Welterweight Championship, Jesse Lennox relinquished his Middleweight Title on the stipulation that his teammate Tom Grubb was granted a title shot. Event promoters agreed, being that Grubb is undefeated and along side Lennox having secured more wins than any other fighter is MSMMA history. Grubb has a proven background and has steadily climbed his way to the top through consistent training/progress and execution of his gameplans. Now the time has come for the local fan favorite to claim his first championship, but standing in his way is a young brut ready to play spoiler and make a name for himself aswell.
Brian Monaghan hails from Nebraska where he trains with Elite Performance to perfect his MMA skills. Brian specializes and showcases a sharp Muay Thai game that may keep Grubb on the defense while standing. In Monaghan’s two year fighting career he has never had an easy fight and claimed victories for such notable fighters as Mike Van Meer (former MCC Middleweight Champion), Jason Louck, and recently fed the very tough Doug Onstott his first loss. Onstott came in as a heavy favorite but was quickly submitted by the Muay Thai expert, earning Monaghan a shot at the MSMMA Middleweight Chamionship.
Look for this matchup to possibly go to the later rounds as both fighters will fight a smart fight and are equally competent from any position.
