Manny Pacquiao & Floyd Mayweather, JR Agree

Looks like Pac Man was the one who ducked Mayweather last time.

Interesting Reporting :

"Although the fight is close to being signed, we were in the same position this time in March.

With the deal done, and Pacquiao offered a record breaking purse, he pulled out of the fight at the last minute over a drug testing request.

Pacquiao had already, reportedly, made many questionable demands of his own, in a potential attempt to derail the fight. When Mayweather accepted all of these, he then took offence to being asked for a random drug test within 14 days of a fight, walking out on the deal.

Now, 14 days is fine. In fact, Pacquiao says, "it's good for the sport," so it's obvious to most that he ruined the last fight over nothing.

So, maybe we should watch this space before we get our hopes up."

Some people are whispering that Pacquiao's management team are looking to not fight Mayweather.

Roach thinks that because of Mayweather's last fight showed him flat footed that he will do the same when he fights Pacquiao and it will greatly increase the chances for his fighter to win. Which is why I hope Roach is telling Pacquiao's management team to TAKE the fight.

lol @ citing bleacher report. Try again. There were so "many" questionable demands that Pacquaio made that they can't name ONE! Just throw the word "reportedly" in there and you're safe. Good reporting.

Sorry if it offends you. But it is reporting a viewpoint.

Here is another interesting "opinion"

"Manny Pacquiao came out today and said he would be tested up to 14 days before a potential fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. The compromise by Pacquiao is newsworthy because the Filipino star initially refused to have testing that close to the fight date.

During this February’s fight negotiations between the two boxers’ camps, Pacquiao said he was offended by Mayweather's insistentence on drug testing right before the match. The refusal by Pacman (and attitude clashes) caused talks between the two men to be called off.

Now Pacquiao is singing a different tune.

Of course, the sudden change in attitude poses one big question:

Why now?"

I'll believe this fight is happening when they step into the ring. Until then you all are being repeatedly trolled.

Excellent idea and Floyd seems open to doing it that way.. But will team Pacquiao agree (aka Arum) ..

Roger Mayweather:

"Roger also likes the idea of the winner of the fight getting 60% and the loser 40%. However, that’s something that Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum won’t likely agree to unfortunately."

also Roger
Mayweather: “I know he [Floyd] can knock him [Pacquiao] out – period. Once Pacquiao takes that test [referring the random blood test for performance enhancing drugs], he’s going to get a beating he ain’t never had before because there ain’t no way in the world a guy [Pacquiao] swinging that wild is coming after my nephew, period.”

Recently, there has been a lot of positive chatter that indicates that is nearly a done deal. 8CN recently reported that a source revealed that the fighters have agreed to the terms of the contract. According to another of 8CN's sources, the only obstacle that remains is Pacquiao's defamation lawsuit against Mayweather. Considering the massive sum of money involved, most are optimistic that the fight will push through somehow.

 Amen

Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. is not going to cut and run from Manny Pacquiao...

"Not at least until the Undefeated One hears the opening bell in Las Vegas on the momentous night of Nov. 13.

That's what I say and my grabby friend, Paul The Octopus, backs me up. Or tentacles me up...or something like that.

I'm getting off the wiggle wagon, off the fence. I'm saying book your air and hotel plans now and start lining up your ticket buys.

My gut tells me we're getting our Boxing Super Bowl this year and not next year."

does he know something he is not telling?

On a side note . Attempted murderer Margarito gets denied his license in Las Vegas he has to clear it up first with CSAC.

Please do not ALLOW him to fight.

Also side side note: Arum (whom I hate) is going try to get attempted murderer Margarito a fight in Mexico!

I guess they're trying to make it a $80 PPV:
