What I was saying was I don’t think McCorkle weighed “250-255” at any point in his adult life. He certainly cut to make the limit.

Aha. Yes, I think Barnett was a big but not enormous heavyweight. 250 sounds right. McCorkle was probably bigger than that in high school.
It’s sad that it isn’t an open wt class. With McCorkle it was obvious that he was never meant to weigh that little and would have performed better at a natural weight.
