Looks like McGregor is hitting the mainstream in a big way. Memphis Grizzlies player Marc Gasol hit a huge clutch shot at the end of a close game and celebrated by doing the McGregor strut in game. Although it could be argued that he was copying Odell Beckham Jr. more than Conor, I'm not sure if anyone asked him why he did it.

LOL, to his credit, his older brother Pau Gasol always did a toned down version of that walk whenever he hit a big shot. Always drove me nuts as I was a Lakers-hater!
If Daniel Bryan gets to lay claim to the "yes" chant, I have no problem with the walk being called the "McGregor".

i did the Mcgregor one day at work after taking a dump...we all have one bathroom we all share and there was a line waiting to go in....they were pissed

I considered it but from experience here it seems like most people don't follow other sports. I thought there would be a pretty high liklihood that lots of mma fans wouldn't know who marc gasol was.
