StardogChampion - A few years ago this would have probably been just written off as a troll thread. With GSP out and Nick Diaz showing some of the best boxing in the UFC I think this fight is on the horizon at some point. I think if He destroys Carlos Condit the way he destroyed BJ Penn standing this fight should seriously be considered as there is no interesting standup fights for Anderson Silva in the MW division. Thoughts?

This is by far one of the dumbest threads ever created... I will note the usernames of anyone who gives Diaz a chance, just so I know not to give anything you say on this forum any serious consideration.
Both Diaz and Condit are going to grow into higher weight classes as they age. Both are similar in height to a 8-10 yr older silva. While I think Diaz would get hurt if the fight was tomorrow, a year or two from now, I think it would be a lot mor competitive than most are giving it credit for.

Those 'nothing-worth' bodypunches are killing the cardio of the opponent and also keeps them thinking about where he is gonna strike (head/body). eagleswhat1 - Funny how people still right off Diaz.....didnt Freddie Roach say BJ Penn had the best hands in all of mma....and Diaz Totally outclassed him once he got his grove on....Andersons striking is amazing but he uses a lot of straight punches....watching Diaz as of late he slips or parrys a lot of Jabs and Crosses...more likely getting hit with looping punches val Daley....and Im willing to bet Daley and Ando's punching power is pretty much even. I see this being very competitive and Diaz winning on pressure and gas tank.
