I basically don't believe in a 'clash of styles' being the most important element in a result between two fighters. People more often than not like to use the terms in hope of having their fave fighter matchup with someone or to justify a loss. Basically there's a ladder and people infront of you are generally better - you know, the sort of system 90% of sports use.
