Apparently he wants to fight Gono after Gono called out Takimoto or something. Lombard has been training with Yoshida and Takimoto.
Gono is pretty solid striker and very experienced, that would be an interesting matchup. Crosley Gracie could not submit Gono. Cant see Lombard outboxing Gono, Lombard looks powerful but Gono is a first rate counter puncher for MMA.
Having Lombard in the GP def makes it interesting as the new guy/dark horse or whatever but is he really ready for elite level MMA at this point?
Baroni could possibly face Busta or rematch with Suloev!
Time to see Kang against the best at his weight now, its the perfect time, seems like he is just peaking into elite ranks.
Busta could also show who's the man by winning what he barely missed out on last time.
Crosley and/or Rodrigo not being in it is pretty surprising, same with Minowa, Tamura, and was Kondo in this?
This is also Filho's chance to make it too, he, more than Kang seems poised to really make it as one of the top guys in this weight.
