Prime BJ Penn vs Prime Kazushi Sakuraba

Saku via decision or kimura

Saku via being faster, larger, more athletic....and having a far more dangerous sub game....also his leg kicks would keep BJ's boxing @ bay

BJ walks around at 185 the same weight as Sakuraba's walk around weight. Sakuraba had superior cardio, wrestling and sub skills. BJ was the better hand striker while Sakuraba had some devastating kicks.

Also when Saku hit someone his own size her hurt them. Hell he dropped Wandy in their first fight.

and for the folks that thought Igor took more damage then Saku did in the earlier round before their fights. Igor's fight lasted around 5 mins. and at about 2 mins in there was a 5 minute break to replace Gary's cup. plus Igor fought before Saku's 90 minute epic with Royce so he had the longest rest period.

for those who think fighting in the UFC would be an advantage for BJ. remember Saku is a UFC champ aswell.

for those who want to mention that BJ has never been subbed. Royce and Royler hadn't either till they met Sakuraba. No BJJ fighter had been subbed in MMA till Conan Silviera met Saku and he tapped because his unbreakable arm was being broken.

"No BJJ fighter had been subbed in MMA till Conan Silviera met Saku"

Is that really true? That's incredible if it is! Phone Post

LMAO @ a "far more dangerous sub game"...

Slightly more, maybe.

cool hand Ed - Sak wouldn't have been able to take down prime bj, and Penn destroys him on the feet. Easy win for Penn, bad matchup for sak. Phone Post

Prime Sak gets "destroyed" by no one, he may lose, but you won't destroy him or his heart. Phone Post
