Chuck was only that way because of the zuffa hype machine. There's a reason why he didnt fight more than 3 times in PRIDE.

I also don't believe that his chin was granite and that his KO losses were due to him losing the ability to take a punch. His KO losses to Rampage, Rua and especially Rashad weren't because his chin was bad, it was his defense that was bad. The shit that Rashad hit him with would have KO'd just about anyone. Chuck's commitment to going for the kill often left himself open. I think Hendo would have weathered the storms until he could land his own bomb.Are you suggesting that the KO loss to Shogun wasn't because Chack became chinny, it was his defense? That is flat out ridiculous. Chuck's chin got checked and he briefly checked out due to a straight left but that had nothing to do with his chin disappearing, just bad defense?
Rua is a pretty dangerous striker. Sure after getting KO'd like he did by Rashad, he wasn't going to be the same. It isnt like Shogun just grazed him though. He landed a clean shot on Chuck. I'll give you that it was a shot thag a prime Chuck might have been able to absorb.
Chuck never gave thought to defense or throwing straight shots or exposing himself. He was all about throw as hard as you can and try to take a guys head off. Watch him on the TUF's. He isn't teaching clean techniques or short punches. He is showing how to fire Monster Overhands. I'm not disrespecting the dude. His approach and style was to go for the kill. A point fighter Chuck Liddell was not. I respect that. I just think Henderson would have beaten him. Henderson is a All Time Top Five MMA great. Its not a insult to pick Hendo to beat him. Its also not an insult to say Chuck had some holes in bis game. Every fighter does.
As for Prime Henderson I respect his abilities but the fact that he needed steroids and other supplements to get past the "Decision Dan" level of his career, taints his legacy for me.

Point to a fight that Hendo looked big prior to TRT. I think it's clear you may never have even watched any. He looked substantially the same in UFC 17 and VS Belfort 1.
First you say that that he needed TRT to get stoppages. Then I point out the actual percentages and show it's not so and add I add further insite.
Next you claim he was always on T and you continue to ignore the rebuttal that there would be no reason for him to improve really on TRT as you initially (and just again) claimed if he was always on T (another assertion your yours).

Best Chuck vs. Best Hendo is a stylistic win for Chuck. Hendo is aggressive and wild with his punches, Chuck would counter the fuck out of him and mix takedowns in. For an Olympic wrestler, Dan wasn't the best MMA wrestler. His aggression would cause him to eat bombs and get taken down.
Chuck might even put out a gassed Hendo.
Chuck was fed wrestlers all day... Dan would have been like the rest until age got the best of him. Prime Couture was better than Hendo in every area (except power right) and Chuck took that 2-1 decisively
And I love that Chuck fought with a gut... No roids or other shit. Dan can't ever say the same and that's a fact
