Heart cannot be taught. She will learn techniques and will be great. Congrats Rose, she looked great as well. 
Yeah, I was impressed with her tenacity.

She's young, trains at a great camp, has a heart of steel, and a will to survive; techniques will come but the heart and will is nearly impossible to train
Head and arm throw is the worst beginner technique, we learned how to counter that junk 3 different ways in elementary wresling. lol.... She has heart but with no technique what so ever. Heart will only get you so far, and It got her to Rose. She'll never be anything more than a pretty face.

There are a ton of mediocre fighters with lots of heart. Saying someone will be "great" after a performance like that is a bit of a stretch IMO. I'm not saying she won't get better, but she hasn't displayed anything that makes me think she will be a great fighter.

It doesn't make sense to me. Surely someone has told them it's a terrible thing to do in a fight.
mada - Couple more fights like that and she will no longer have a taste for fighting. You see her looking at the TelePrompTer between rounds instead of listening to her corner? She's a pretty young woman and very concerned with getting her face busted up. She's lucky Rose started doing more grappling and less striking or she would have been wrecked.If she was concerned about her face and taking damage she would have tapped way sooner in the fight when she was in a RNC

Not if she takes that kind of punishment a couple more times. She's tough, but taking that kind of a beating will wither you physically and mentally pretty quickly no matter how tough you are.
You guys know I don't watch the girls fight. Let me ask, jonnierockets, what athletic tools does she have that will allow her to execute said techniques? Is she just a monster for the weight class? Is she a cardio machine? Long reach? Tremendous power and speed? Tell me a little about the physical attributes you see in her that wll push her to the top.
And about the headlock, yes I agree it's little more than a basic elementary move. In fact, in kids wrestling we're taught to avoid it, as it stunts further development. The exception would be a high level judo player. They can get away with it because they incorporate a different technique then the standard school yard head and arm.
She got dominated for every second of those 5 rounds, and I don't mean somebody just laying on the other person. One person dominating in 100 different positions. Not sure that I can recall somebody being so much better at every single thing. There was nowhere for Paige to turn.
I'm guessing UFC feeds her easy fights and all you lap it up and idolise her because she's semi attractive.
Getting your ass kicked brutally does not mean that you're all of a sudden going to be fucking great, bro. What this could do is kill any fucking confidence page was ever going to have. That's why in boxing they protect a young boxer from brutal beatings and from being mentally dominated.
I think Paige needs to get out while she still has a face...fact of the matter is she may never be the same, getting dominated like that had to have destroyed her confidence and belief in what' she learned so far . She was favored -140 and got destroyed like she was +800. Sucks she's tough as nails but I don't see her being great.
Paige was so overmatched by Rose that all the heart in the world, all the training in the world. She's never going to get there.
She can improve, sure, but so can everyone else, and Rose is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much better already.
