Clipsburgh - I never even heard of a superhero called Luke Cage.

Power Man & Iron Fist

Marvel's version of Blaxploitation and Kung-Fu

I think Cage is too serious for Page's very 1-dimensional (i.e. playing himself) acting style.

How bout Michael Jai White instead.

 NOOOOO

I wanted it to be Terry Crews.

i guess its still better than the old spice guy.

Of all the superhero movies that haven't been made, I can't believe this is being considered.

I thought Terry would have been a shoe in...

Why? Big muscles? The guy looks too old and too freakish, he's not much of an actor and sticks mostly to "menacing guy" and "over the top funny muscle guy" roles, and he's not lead role material. In fact I'm not sure he's ever been a lead in any film I've seen.

hes a bullet proof black man. but i heard this was already casted

I hope Rampage gets the role, but Terry's obviously has more acting experience, the only negative for him would be his age imo...

Solid! (in Black Dynamite voice)

If it came down to Page and Terry I'd say Terry has better chops for the role too, by far. Page has only one character, and that's not Luke Cage.

I expected an "Apache Kid" movie before Power Man.

Please no.

White would want to coordinate his own fight scenes and you know he would work his TMA background into it. Cage is an untrained street-fighting bruiser, not an ultra-slick Karate man. Dude is more likely to whack you with a chain that hit you with a Tornado kick.

Spawn had chains :P I see your point though. Cage is a brawler, not a karateka.

This or Idris Elba.

I wouldn't mind seeing Lester Speight (Terry Tate) win the role. He's got the comedic timing to pull it off, and is a huge jacked mother-fucker.
