"LOL, Robson Moura doesn't have to answer for anything"
Correct But RObson Pereria (sp) does
"LOL, Robson Moura doesn't have to answer for anything"
Correct But RObson Pereria (sp) does
"I think DOD has crossed that line."
How so? Someone tells a bald-faced lie on the internet that a venerable red belt knows the teacher of a suspect black belt, so I talk to the red belt myself and find out that he doesn't know the teacher. If I didn't have evidence of that conversation, the liar might accuse ME of being the liar.
I'm not being "weird and stalkerish"; I'm persistently trying to bust one of the biggest con jobs in the BJJ community, one that has ensnared the likes of Rigan Machado and is threatening to tarnish, by association, the reputation of a red belt Grand Master.
te,
Tried, but got no answer.
ttt
While I do think it is admirable for you to seek the truth:
How do I think you have crossed the line?
You have created many threads about the same subject on this forum as well as jiujitsugear.com forums.
You continually TTT your own threads that are many months old
The RatPack gym in question is located in a very small town in PA, with only a handfull of students
The gym only charges a minimal amount of money to train- its not like they are exactly "ripping anyone off"
Nobody seems to really care anymore, but you still bring it up.
Having said that, yes, I agree, any black belt in BJJ should have a clear lineage as to who gave them their belts...I guess I just wouldnt have spent as much time, effort, and passion, as you have.
Is the Red Belt doing a seminar for the RP soon?
yep, check mma.tv silver events, he is doing a seminar for the RP.
Here's notice of the seminar from their own site:
http://www.rpfightingsystems.com/events_seminars.html
This is a part of the con job. Book Mansor for a seminar, snap lots of pictures of Mansor with Robson, and people will naturally assume that Robson is legit.
DOD, If he is indeed a false BB, you deserve a 12 pack on me. If he is not the you deserve a six pack on me for effort. RF
i am still under the impression that he is not a black belt cause i have not seen any evidence of who and when he first got it
The con job with Mansor actually began here, with someone doing a photo op of Robson visiting Mansor's school on Long Island:
http://www.rpfightingsystems.com/affiliation.html
Note that above the picture of Robson and Mansor shaking hands, there is a group shot with Rigan standing beside Robson with his arm around him.
Pretty ambitious con job going here...
"Nobody seems to really care anymore, but you still bring it up."
I still am interested in seeing fake bjj masters get ratted out on mma.tv, please speak for yourself son.
As a bjj practioner, I also am interested.
However, I lose my interest when I read countless threads, spanning many months, over the same instructor.
More evidence of the con job--letter bearing the signatures of Marcos Santos and Rigan Machado stating that Robson got his black belt from Sakata:
http://www.rpfightingsystems.com/credentials.html
Yet when I myself spoke with Marcos Santos, he admitted that he did not know Sakata, but that Mansor knew Sakata. If Rigan and Marcos are going to allow a letter like this bearing their signatures to be posted on the Rat Pack site, they had better be able to produce evidence that Sakata exists.
kying418 is peeved because over on the JJG Forum I told him to get his head out in regard to the Robson business. But that was a part of my plan--to have him come over here and keep this thread up by posting to say that he doesn't want to read my threads. Actually, the three Rat Pack threads that have been ttt'd the most on the UG weren't even my own threads, and a bunch of other posters were keeping them up as well. I created this thread to have a Rat Pack thread of my own...
"you deserve a 12 pack on me"
If you're at the Relson school in Austin, I might take you up on that...
DOD- I'm not peeved at all- that's obvious because I keep on TTT the same threads. Additionally, I personally like reading these types of threads...just didnt think others like reading the same ones over and over again.
I just find your passion a bit weird, thats all.
"- You continually TTT your own threads that are many months old"
Ok, how about if I do it for him? Happier?
and what IF this guy IS INDEED a BJJ BB??? Then wont you feel like a stupid jerk for trying to run his name into the ground? I mean, isnt RIGAN'S lone word enough???
I am still keenly interested.
Because regardless of the outcome, imposters will recognize that intense scrunity and quality control exists in BJJ. Claiming to be one isn't ever going to cut it. Produce proof or get crushed.
BY THE WAY:
Someone on the first page was saying something about Graciemag having archives of competitors going back decades. IDEA! Simply have Robson PEREIRA detail his competition experience and wins he racked up. After all he did claim to be competitive in Brazil. Okay. Let's see archives of him in print at a specific belt at a specific time. Although this won't rule out a blue/purple promoting himself to black - it might establish SOME legitimacy and a chronology we can follow. For example if a Robson Periera took 2nd in some tournament back in 1988 as a blue belt, and then 1st in 1992 as a purple belt we could establish some legitimacy. Not certainty. But it might provide more clues. Especially if his affiliation is listed with his victory.
