Royler-Sudo...

"Royler could get TKOed decisioned or KOed in a fight like this just as people like Lewis, Iha and Santos have been, but on the ground Sudo will be made to whimper. That's why the best prototype of this fight would be Serra vs. Penn if Sudo knows what's good for him."

The problem with Royler is that he does not take strikes well. He's an unbelievable grappler, but if Genki hits him it will disrupt his game. And if Takehiro Murahama, a guy with limited ground training, can defend a rear naked choke from Royler for 8 minutes, then I think Genki can keep from being submitted as well.

Genki has better takedown skills (offense and defense) and better grappling skills than Murahama, who gave Royler all he could handle. Genki isn't as good standing as Murahama, but is still good enough to land some strikes on Royler while defending the takedowns. And if it goes to the ground, Royler definitely has the advantage, but Genki won't be a fish out of water, which is what Royler will be during the standup portions of the fight.

Royler by methodical domination.
