Does the Rickson Gracie/Yojo Anjo private fight video tape exist?
I seem to recall gordon saying he'd seen it
Yes.
My mistake.
I meant will it ever be released?
I wonder if gordon is related to todd hester who used to be the editor for grappling magazine and was an old school gracie moonie
Was it Anjo's request to not have the tape released?
Don't really know the story so well myself.
I always have a hard time fully believing anything the Gracies say.
Edited for typo.
I remember people close to Rickson who had seen it saying something along those lines of it being pretty fucking brutal (Rickson taped his knuckles up with duct tape to savagly beat the shit out of Anjo more). By todays standards is would make Rickson look like a monster since the context would be lost on people not knowing/caring about the background
Its been years so my memory of it is fuzzy
This. I suspect Rickson could have been charged with assault if the tape had become public, and now it would just make him look like a viscious motherfucker, not a martial artist.
I was at that fight live. The crowd in Toronto was going NUTS for Vitor. My understanding is that he actually snapped Jones arm, but Jones didn't tap. The post fight interview was hilarious (for the crowd, not so much for Jones)... you could tell Jon thought the crowd was going to cheer him for fighting through that armbar, but instead he was bewildered/disappointed that people still seemed to hate him.
I'm not sure to what extent Rich and Dana were in on it, but Ken Shamrock sure as hell thought it was supposed to be a work.
In all seriousness, there's a few guys like Chael and Shammy who you never need to say the word "work". They'll see that twinkle in your eye and conclude to themselves "they're bringing me in to do 'my thing'".

What I'm trying to say is that there's a big gray area with "work". Which is surprising because it seems cut and dry at first glance. But is a guy who is showing up for a payday working the fight? Someone that half assed it in training? Someone who doesn't really care whether they win or not because they've made peace with the idea of losing? I understand what people mean when they say Shammy-Rich wasn't a work... but when you look at it as a spectrum instead of black and white, it's pretty clear Shammy is on the wrong end of the spectrum.
Did crazy horse really ko wanderlei the footage they released is clearly edited
This is a good one. All signs point to Crazy horse popping up and flash KOing Wanderlei. I’ve spent some time in the past considering the evidence and I believe it happened the way Crazy Horse says.
Does Bobby really have the Tito Lee Murray fight footage from TFSoL? If so, what’s the real reason he has not released it. And how did the fight actually go down? This is a legit mystery.

Same can be said for Severn, Sapp, Shannon Ritch, and I am sure a ton of mid level jobbers. There are also the random guys brought in to lose, common in the midwest, look at Travis Fulton's records, some of these guys he fought 3 times in a week, that had 1-14 records. I remember there being a post on here years ago about how it all worked.
Tito was also highly suspect in the Mcgeary fight, and it looked like Schlemenko took a dive against him, as did Chael.
One common thing with guys like Shamrock, Severn, Sapp, Sonnen, their last names all start with S lol, and they all had involvement with either being in prowrestling, wanting to be in prowrestling, and having a character they created that was larger than their actual personality. Throw Tito in there too

I doubt it. He probably hopped up, threw a wild punch and just ran off, Wandy was probably dazed because he didnt expect it, but I doubt it was some serious KO, or they wouldnt have stopped beating the shit out of him.
