the rule change was only implemented recently and not many people understand it

I've known Matt for probably 17 yrs, since he was living in the basement of his gym. He is far from a douche bag. Total stand up guy and one of the funniest dudes you'll ever meet. Weidman is his guy, emotions run high for big fights like this.
Weidman raked Mousasi's eyes on multiple occasions, then tried to fake injury to get a dq win.
Same guy that celebrated when his opponent's leg snapped in 2.
