So uh, GSP clear P4P #1?

binga - José Aldo :DDD

 Definitely arguable.

Reed Rothchild -  Fedor, imo

guardbr8kr - GSP has loss 2 rounds in the UFC, Anderson just lost 4 in a row. There is no doubt GSP is P4P #1,
Really?

BJ 1

Hughes 1

Serra 1

That is already more than 2 boss.

And still less than four...

Didn't he lose a round to Koscheck too? There's four....

Reed Rothchild -  Fedor, imo

yes, not happy about it, but yes.

GSP is easily the best welterweight in the world.

GSP has never fought outside welterweight so why would he be considered the best p4p in the world? How do you test the theory?

Do you honestly think someone who is smaller than Chael would have the same dominance in wrestling against Anderson?

Why take away from Anderson's victory? Because he is not the number 1 p4p wrestler in the world?

Kai Tremeche -
eljamaiquino -
NailedtotheSky - Easily, not even close. Chael impressed the hell out of me tonight, but should have posed about the same threat to Silva as maybe a a fighter like Hardy would to GSP.

GSP wouldn't have lost a round 10-8 to a journeyman.

GSP got KTFO and lost his title to a journeyman, meanwhile Anderson is still undefeated in the UFC.

Who he destroyed in the rematch

Anderson won all his fights, he doesn't need rematches to beat guys. Furthermore Anderson has fought in 3 different weight classes, two in the UFC. In fact, he went up in weight to beat a former 205 champ.

Whereas GSP obviously doesn't want to go up, making excuse after excuse, when guys like BJ and Jake Shields are chomping at the bit to go up and challenge themselves.

No comparison....

P4P is the concept of evaluating fighters based on their skills, without factoring in weight. For example, Jose Aldo is a better P4P fighter than Todd Duffee, regardless of the fact that Duffee would more than probably beat him down if they fought. Get it?

I get ya.

Was never too keen to this argument to begin with but I guess my point is the level of competition the fighter exposes himself to.

Anderson has moved up in weight class and dominated and has verbally been willing to move down.

Fedor could probably drop enough weight to fight at 205 and yet he fights at heavyweight and destroys for the most part.

A boxer like Manny Pac. moves around weight classes and dominates as well.

Even BJ challenges himself within different weight classes to prove his abilities.

I just feel like GSP has proved all he can at welterweight and has beaten the best under him, so it's time to see how far his talent translates or else it's a lot of speculation.

Who really cares who is P4P best. Anderson is the best at 185, GSP 170, Fedor to many at Heavyweight!

GSP fights for a decision every fight. Anderson and Fedor both look to finish a fight. With that being said finishing a fight should be a head of grinding out a decision.

Anderson fighting Griffin and Irvin doesn't impress me all that much. Stylistically, those should have been easy fights for him. It'd be like Maia moving up to have a grappling match with Stephan Bonner. I wouldn't be that impressed when Maia won.

GSP is the most well rounded fighter ever and he fights in one of the deepest divisions in the UFC so i would say yes.

Anderson is not nearly as well rounded as gsp and fights in probably the worst division in the ufc.

This

Anderson hasnt fought the competition GSP has and GSP has never lost 4 rounds in a row.GSP without a doubt

His opponents win/loss percentage is almost 20 percent higher then andersons opponents, its the equivalent of a team in the afc north going 13-3 playing shit opponents and saying they are better then the best team in the toughest division but may be 12-4.Its really not fair.Plus this is the no wrestlers allowed division at 185,it gives Anderson an unnatural disproportionate advantage over any champ in any other division

Hmm... it comes down to decisions, decisions, decisions...

Silva

seriously,he has fought one ammy style wrestler since hes been in the ufc.ww has GSP,Fitch,Kos,Hughes,im sure im missing someone.Clearly an ammy style wrestler is the biggest threat to Anderson,he is 1-0 against this type of fighter but most would say if this fight happened 10 times he would have lost 7,given the fact that chael won 23 straight minutes

if you just considers wins/losses A. Silva is still #1, but if you consider their performances in their fights i think GSP takes it easy.

some of you retards are completely delusional

GSP has lost a more than 2 rounds in the UFC.
