I mean I always understood why some wanted Rampage vs Wanderlie 3
They had two geat fights, and although Wanderlie ultimately overhelmed Page, and brutally beat him up, Rampage would have his moments etc
But Shogun ran through a PRIME Rampage effotlessly. Beat him senseless up and down the ring, then finished him in the first round.
Shogun beat Rampage in one of the most lopsided beatings I have ever seen in combat sport period
Now Rampage is over the hill.
I would still be a fun fight for the fans. Or a guy like Lil Nog or Vitor or Franklin. It makes more sense than Mitrione imo

Shogun may have destroyed Rampage, but this isn't Pride and neither are in their prime. At least that attracts some interest.
Rampage doesn't want to fight. I hope he retires. He's a bad ass but his heart is not in it anymore.
If he does take a fight he will lose and lose bad.
