He shared an anecdote in an interview on how Bisping shared his meal with him at a restaurant in Vegas once, that and Bisping agreed to fight him on a weeks notice so he didn't get time to write the material or he respects his eagerness to fight too much.

I remember reading something about this regarding Bisping saying he respected his character or something of that nature.
As for Stann he publicly stated he liked and greatly respected Stann and also even had an issue fighting him because he liked him.
Plus ragging on a legit american war hero was probably something even the king of trash talking couldn't stomach.
