its fun that Ian got KO’d in sparring. there are a number of conclusions from this that i am willing to draw:
- there’s now a kernel of self-doubt working away inside ian’s confidence
- as it’s sparring this would have been a one-shot stoppage, not a TKO - as you don’t work to finish a hurt sparring partner
- shavkat will be off-limits in talk and as opponent
- ian’s got a dodgy chin
- the more this goes on, the brighter his star will burn, the sooner it will fizzle out
- ian will probably move gyms now that he cant be the shrillest shit-talker in the building
