Swanson: I feel like I'm the best in world

<p>Cub Swanson has won an impressive five straight fights in the ultra competitive featherweight division and could be the next challenger for the title. Swanson believes he is the next champion, he just needs his chance:</p>
“For a long time, I never really cared where I fit in the division or the rankings – until now,” he said. “Until right now. I feel like I’m the best in the world. I just need to prove it. I need a chance. And I really don’t feel like anybody out there can stop me. I just feel like it’s my chance and, if you want to call it destiny or whatever you will, I’ve been waiting a long time for something to come along and happen for me. I’m sick of that and I’m ready to just take it.”
Both are different fighters now. I think Cub and Mendes would give Aldo major problems now. Aldo hasn't looked anything close to the Aldo that was wrecking people in the WEC. Maybe the competition is tougher, but both Mendes and Cub have been looking dominant and finishing really tough competition.

I've really become a big fan of Cub over the years, and at first I didn't like him at all. The training video he released recently was fucking sick, no wonder he's been getting so much better. Has looked so much more explosive and precise with all his movements. WAR CUB!
He's been looking good of late but hard to say that when he the champ is someone who KTFO him and the challenger is someone who tapped him out pretty recently as well. How is Cub's tdd? Mendes is looking great and could be the more interesting rematch for Aldo since he is a different fighter than the one who lost to Aldo. Im not sure Cub is a diff fighter so much than a better fighter now.
