The guys he’s beat isn’t as important as how he’s beaten them.
No one’s choking out the Leech in under a round. No one is one punch KO’ing Gerald Meerschaert. No one is going 4-0 to start their UFC career and only getting punched literally once.
I checked the database and Khamzat Chimaev’s ELO Rating is 1648. Jingliang Li’s is 1723 and he mopped the floor with him already! Motherfucker is hiding his power level and shit and you fuckers doubt him.

There is a difference in doubting a person, and waiting to see them earn it.
Pushing a fighter too hard and too fast almost always has negative consequences. They’ve got to have time to keep improving as the level of their competition improves.

^agreed. plus always remember that GSP is one of the highest fight-iq problem-solvers in the history of mma. admittedly, we are probably early on in its evolution, but he had a team of mad scientists in his corner, not only working on invisible potions lol, but also game plans.
