The solution: 1 strike = lifetime unrevokeable ban

I like the idea of changing an "enhanced" win to a loss.
But then we'd also have to have the ranking and number one contenders be based on strictly win/loss records. Oh wait...

The only two ways to motivate people to follow rules are financial incentives/penalties or fear of consequences.

The only legal way to remedy the CESSPOOL of drug abuse that the UFC has become is for the athletic commissions to invoke a zero tolerance policy.

Any test whether before or after a fight, months out from a fight, WHENEVER, that turns in a positive result for ANY banned substance should be met with an automatic lifetime ban from the sport.

Literally, ZERO tolerance.

See how many "oh everyone does it" responses you get then.

Make breaking the rules a legit risk to someone's career and livelihood and see how that changes things.

I think Dana would spend all of the UFC's available capital to prevent such a measure. No way would he want to risk losing his top talent permanently to orgs outside the US. Also it seems kind of unprecedented. Do any other major sports have such a policy?

Ped's isn't why the sport isn't mainstream. Most of the casual fans have zero clue who failed what.

It's not mainstream because there are very little casual fans. People will go spend a day at a baseball game because it's a fun thing to do.
