Tito seems like a great dad and hes an mma legend, and is great with fans, that is all true
Also, true at the same time is that he’s kind of an idiot who has said enough stupid shit in public to fill a book. This thread is just kind of poking fun at all the dumb shit he’s said over the years. I don’t think anybody here legitimately hates Tito.
No one’s ever going to accuse Tito Ortiz of being an intellectual, however.
He should’ve stayed in his lane and stuck with MMA and combat sports and never tried to get into politics cause that exposed him even more for not being very smart. That kind of thing it’s just not in his wheelhouse. What did he say when he quit? “This job is not working for me.”

I ran into Tito at the airport days after he got knocked out by Chuck the first time. And he couldn’t have been cooler to me. He was by himself slouched over looking depressed at the terminal and his eye was fucked up from Chuck’s “Kenpo” lol. I probably should have left him alone but I was a superfan and was a little awe struck running into him in the wild. But he still acted like he was the John Cena of the UFC.
I make jokes about Tito but it’s all in good fun and will always be a fan for that. He had all the right to brush me off and one on one he was a great ambassador.

His son had a wrestling tournament in my town and i ran into him on the freeway…he was in a team punishment escalade…he was riding shotgun on his phone while i tried to get his attention…he ignored me…lol…so i tweet at him that i was a huge fan now il not because he was an ass…he asked me what he wanted him to do…“pull over and give you a hug?”
I said no but a thumbs up would have been cool…he sent me a picture of his thumb up…lol

During that post Zuffa purchase but pre TUF crucial dark period for the UFC… No One put in the work in the promotional dept that Tito did and was as good with the fans as him.
Even if he had the backing of the company he still went above and beyond for the sport and should get a lot more credit for it than he does.

On reflection, I deleted the post mocking Tito and Jenna as parents. Was kinda a dick thing to do.
