Replace Lesnar/Carwin with Machida/Shogun 2
Devin187 - New scoring system all together is required imo. This isn't boxing and as such should have a more complex scoring system. Too hard to quantify takedowns, strikes, submission defense, etc.
+1. I just pray they get the right people to revise them. Would be nice to have some consistency.
This just goes to show the mess that has been made in the UFC LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION by Rampage's conveniently timed retirement. No one in the division would be appealing for Machida to fight other than Rampage. With the slaughtering that Rashad got you can't really expect a re-match as Rashad's first fight after just being KO'D. Let the man gain some confidence before stepping back in with the monster. No one else deserves it as much as Shogun right now.
And honestly I don't care because I can't wait for the rematch. DEF betting on Machida to murder. Seriously 25 minutes in there was not enough time for them. They are true modern day masters of a sport which many delusional(y) see. Neither man was gassed, the training these guys go through, I'm sure there would have been an ending if this happened in Pride and they changed all title fights to NO TIME LIMIT.

Please show me where some proof that this is a rule. I keep hearing this excuse but it justifies nothing. Shogun's leg kicks did significantly more damage than any of Machida's strikes. It's just not debatable!
