Everyone fights with injuries; bruised ribs? Please this is all saving face excuse tactics. Lost my respect for Aldo.
I doubt any veteran fighter ever comes in close to 100% for any fight nowadays. I'd much rather know the excuse before hand than if this hadn't leaked and Aldo said he was hurt coming in during the post fight interview. 
Technical Primates -He can only do what he can do buddy. He keeps his head up and keeps training. Stays fit active and healthy. He's doing all the right things, what can he do about other people and their perceptions? Not much, other than keep winning against whomever the UFC out in front of him. He seems focused on the task. And hungry...
It's a shame that if Conor wins now all we will hear from people is how Jose was injured and he never would have won if he was healthy. I wanted to see this fight happen as much as the next guy but not really like this. As much as I hate to say it they should have postponed so there is no doubt who the better fighter is and no immediate excuse for people to jump on if Conor wins. Now it's gonna be like;
If Conor wins on the feet = because Jose was injured
If he beats him on the ground = because Jose was injured
Any success at all Conor has in the fight = because Jose was injured
That really sucks for Conor imo and is not the way one of the biggest title fights in years should be, the fight is now tainted.

I know that, I never said they did. I think fighting with badly bruised ribs that you got two weeks out from the fight is a little different than fighters going in with niggly injuries.

The momentum and draw from this fight just went wayyyy down.
It won't take anything away from McGregor if he wins. Being prepared for the fight is part of what makes a great fighter. I'm sure most fighters go into fights with bumps, bruises, tears etc.. This one just happened to leak out to the media.
It's not McGregors fault Aldo got hurt in training, it's all part of the fight game. It's part of why, prior to his last fight I didn't consider Cain to be the best HW of all time. Always being hurt and not fighting does impact your ranking as a fighter IMO

Whether Aldo is injured or not, it is assumed Conor must beat him twice. Also merits an immediate rematch. This will be a trilogy.

THe only way people wont blame the injury is if Connor KO's him in the first 30 seconds. Then people will just say it's a fluke lucky shot ala Anderson Weidman 1. (No i don't see this happening at all)
