That pic gave me the chills for like 30 seconds straight. I didn't really like him before, but after last night in his post fight interview, combined with just watching the MTV episode and seeing that pic has made me go full 180 and I like the guy now, seeing his true character made me a fan. Great person and happy for him and his family.

Matrixkick - It always baffled me that so many people, I guess you could say, disliked him. He might have a cocky fighting style and he definitely has swagger but he is unbelievably humble. Great guy to have as the 155 lb champ!
This. He is a rare fighter, and a great kid. One of my absolute favorites to watch. Very happy for him.

I've been lucky to be with Anthony and Ben through their entire careers with Zuffa and can honestly say that they are both wonderful people. Never did understand those that disliked him but I'm glad you guys are finally getting to see the true person.

Ya, I admit I wasn't sure about him as a person because I had not been exposed to him very much, but I loved his fighting style (who wouldn't), however, after his post fight interview I watched the press conference, and man, did he win me over immediately. All class this kid, well spoken and great for the game. Now seeing this..........amazing stuff. I am very happy to declare that I have become a HUGE Pettis fan over the course of the last 16 hours.
I'm definitely going to watch that episode. All props to Pettis, seems like a really good dude who has had to deal with more than most of us will ever have to. Great story.
To be able to do that on the same night he won the belt is really something special. Usually they are off in Vegas or something, so partying would be first priority. Family first, gotta respect the hell outta that.
