Time between waking up and...

working out?

I've got a really busy schedule so I figured if I'm gonna keep training consistently I need to get up earlier. So I've planned to start getting up around 6 A.M. and start working out around 6:30, with a good slow warm-up. So is thirty minutes adequate time to get your blood flowing and stuff to workout? Also, what should I eat, if anything? I was thinking a small bowl of cornflakes, with a real breakfast after working out.

Thanks.

Joe,

What type of workout are you planning on doing?

This will sound like a no-brainer but: depends on when you go to sleep. On the weekends I sleep in very long, up to 2-3 pm and then after 45/60 minutes of waking up start my forest workout. it consists of 10 mins walking and 50+ minutes of fartlek on hills and pullups, which is always very tough :)
I've only eaten breakfast then (muesli and orange juice) but it's a great time to work out.

so i would say if you go to bed @ 11pm and want to start working out @ 6:30am it's gonna be tough. your best bet for going to bed would be anything before 10pm. 1 hour of sleep before midnight equals 2 hours of sleep after midnight, try it, feel it, it's the truth.

I'm doing Scrapper no. 1, and going to bed between 9:30 and 10.

Sounds good to me :)
