Oh yeah the eye poke!!! No one ever fought after being poked in the eye I forgot. Tito put his hands over his head and crumpled to the mat instead of closing the distance to avoid the onslaught because he was so well prepared. His game plan did suck, because he lacked to tools to win a fight in a bad matchup.
He stood up to prove a point? Just like he said he was going to stand with Randy to prove a point. Tito knew he couldn't take Chuck down, it's time for you folks to let it go. Thats why he didn't try takedowns.
he did take down Matyushenko, but Matyushenko didn't repeatedly beathim down in training and reside so deeply in his subconscious that Tito knew he couldn't win. In fact Tito was a different fighter then, the question is, will he ever be that fighter again?
