Tom Lawlor vs. CB Dollaway

How do people see this one going?

Am I wrong in thinking Lawlor wins this in all areas?

Also, where there rumours of a special UFC 100 moustache?

Tom, if you're taking requests - arm bar in the 1st - just remember to wait for two definate sets of taps...

The UK.

I think Lawlor is going to find his home at 185 :)

Some interesting match ups at 185 for sure

For now Lawlor by takedown at will and gnp or submission stoppage

Hopefully we'll get to see this one on the broadcast!

CB takes him down and brutalizes him from the exact position he brutalizes everyone from.

^that

I think Lawlor wins this one.

CB

I am a little biased, ok, a lot biased but I still think that CB takes it here. He's super agressive and heavy handed not to mention a great wrestler, he's going to take it but it should be a great fight.

What has Tom Lawlor shown anyone to think he can beat CB? CB's weakness is BJJ defense, does anyone see Lawlor subbing him?

I think Lawler's being overlooked big time on this one

He used his wrestling to great effect on Kingsbury (a natural heavyweight), taking him down at will for three rounds.

He used to compete at heavyweight in wrestling himself and was 3x NCWA champion.

I doubt CB will play with him wrestling wise.

Also training with ATT and Magalhaes can't hurt

And lets not forget jits-wise CB got armbarred by a welterweight... twice.

Also, CB nearly got KO'd and subbed by Mike Massenzio (which while it was commendable for him to come back from) showed he isn't all that standing

Lawlor is too big and physical..his hands are way better than people think..he can knock you out with both hands...tough to takedown and cb aint subbing him....lawlor cardio is limitless too...

^
Ok I understand some of your points but CB is without a doubt a better pure wrestler and MMA wrestler. It's not even close.

Kingsbury isn't a UFC level fighter...and Lawlor squeaked by him. Lawlor's a solid wrestler, but he's not on CB's level there. Mike Massenzio is a good fighter, and the armbars against Amir...do you think Lawlor has any shot at that?

I ask again, what has Lawlor shown anyone to suggest he wins this fight? Besides the fact that he posts here of course...

my boy toms wins this big...ive never seen his hands so good and he is gay too.

He knocked out Kaplan.

And why doesn't Tom have a shot at armbarring/submitting CB?

I don't think he's by any stretch a slouch when it comes to the ground

Also, if anyone would've suggested Amir doing the same before their match (especially twice), you'd've laughed at them. Amir was essentially a kickboxer a weight class below and he pulled off that upset, twice

I also think CB will be trying too hard for his necktie due to his bet with Dana - is it $10 000 if he pulls it off?

Only going off of what I've seen, and I've never seen Tom hit, nor even attempt a sub from the bottom, I see his fightfinder record having his only subs coming via RNC...maybe his BJJ is better than I think, but to this point in the fights I've watched I haven't seen it.

And you are correct, Lawlor did knock out Diamond Dave (although Kaplan disputes this)...if Dolloway takes the middle of the Octagon, sticks his chin out and lets Lawlor hit him with all he's got while looking away...possibly Lawlor by KO.

Lawlor by headkick.
