Train Striking with Anderson Silva or GSP?

Suppose you could go to a free striking seminar with either Silva or GSP but they were on the same day in different locations. Who would you choose?

GSP. I feel that anderson's style would only work for Anderson. Phone Post

Is that even a question? Anderson of course!

A.Silva I already have a solid jab and dont wanna practice wresslin

GSP since I dont speak Portuguese. Phone Post

Not sure I would want to be trained to get schooled on the feet by a politician who is known for having sloppy striking...

...but yes, I would choose Anderson

GSP via better English, and I'm closer to GSP's height and build.

You've got to be a pretty special athlete to use Anderson Silva's style, I'd go with GSP for that reason.

I agree somewhat but I think GSP is a very special athlete as well. For someone with no wrestling background to dominate champion wrestlers in MMA, it takes a very special athlete.

I'd say GSP will be a better kickboxer than 80% of the population even without his karate background just because of his amazing athleticism.

Silva!

Anderson Silva, definitely.

GSP. Gotta stick with the Canadian.

I'd hit up GSP cuz I like to Grapple. I'd be looking for new transitions to get it to the ground Phone Post

GSP hands down.

LOL

GSP is the super-athlete, not Anderson.

Read what the fuck I wrote a couple times a little slower before you mock my comment.

GSP has clean technique, works behind his jab, kicks well.

Anderson's standup is largely revolved around his blazing speed and head movement to move in and out of range without taking damage.  Joe Schmo simply can't replicate that.

In terms of who's style would be easier for a lesser talented athlete to pick up...it's St. Pierre's, and it's not close.

Same reason why someone would be better off learning boxing from someone like Bernard Hopkins over Roy Jones, a ton of Jones' style revolves around his speed, somebody off of the street can't simply pick that up.

Lesson over.

GSP, but I understand why people would choose Anderson. Phone Post

Anderson Silva has 'blazing speed'?
I always thought his striking was based off timing and ability to create angles (and of course technique...) ?

I never thought of him as extremely fast? Incorrect?
