I just re-read your post from earlier. I checked on my laptop and the reply box automatically changes to markdown or HTML if you use certain syntax. You arenāt doing that though because two apostrophes shouldnāt change anything.
Wait! Are you using the ` instead of ā ? The former is likely on the top left of your keyboard near the numbers, and the latter is near enter or shift. If I use two of those, hereās how it looks:

^^ The reason it looks that way is because the first ` is at the end of āainātā, and the second one is at the end of the second āainātā. The reply box is changing your text because in markdown, the backtick is used to insert a string of code. The first backtick opens the string, and the next one closes it. Use the apostrophe key.
