Charmaine Tweet fights Cris Justino at tomorrows Invicta FC 11, but the featherweight has bad blood with UFC champion Ronda Rousey too:

It was a situation involving Rousey wanting out of the contract to fight Tweet that led to the issues between the two.
“That was back when Gina (Carano) was slated to come back in Strikeforce and couldn’t get medical clearance,” Tweet said. “The fight was the night after our fight, so Strikeforce went knocking on her door and said, ‘Can you come fight with us?’ She was already in a contract with me. My organization that I was fighting for came to me and said, ‘Do you want to let her out of the contract?’ And I went, ‘Um, no.’ That’s why we sign a contract – so if a better offer comes along you don’t just jump out of it and take that better offer.
“Things got a little heated when I wouldn’t let her out. So, that is where the animosity comes from.”
Jeebus Crystos. Tweet was brought in as a challenger to Rousey and it was probably only a handful of people who knew who Ronda was at this point. The contract was signed before Ronda blew up - I'm not even sure who was cornering Tweet for this fight but I'm pretty damn sure they weren't contacted about Rousey wanting to get out of the fight.
Strikeforce came a calling and Rousey asked to get out of the fight for a bigger opportunity. The promoter stood their ground and she came up to Canuck Land and won via Arm Bar in under a minute.
Sounds like Ronda wanted out of her fight contract with Tweet so that she could take a different fight that opened up in Strikeforce (and make more money, I assume) the next day when Carano didn't clear. I don't get why anyone would take that personally, a contract is a contract, but they are women.
PeteyWheatstraw - "What the fuck is this Article saying?"

Thank you Petey that makes far more sense than the original blog
