I hate how you think about me when you're jacking off.

Did you watch the fight RJJH?? I saw you on the Weidman war wagon thread so I know you probably bought the card to support him, right?

Thoughts on the fight? Phone Post 3.0

AssAssassin - People actually buy ridiculously priced PPV programs?

Its like the same idiots who pay for porn.

I don't know much about this new online thing the UFC released but im guessing for 10$ a month you dont get full cards. Just a guess, because I could see Dana White tossing out any reasonably priced or effective service.
People actually buy lots of things...expensive cars, stereos, phones, computers, vacations, clothing, meals at restaurants....

They find value in these things and buy them. You and I might not, but does that make them an idiot for their preference?

I've never been to Italy. I don't plan on going. I know folks who've spent lots of money on Italian vacations. They loved them. Good for them, I say. Live and let live. Phone Post 3.0

RJJH -

Oh you streamed them. You wouldn't pay for an inferior product but you sure as shit still had to watch that inferior product, huh? I get it, it was too much money for you to afford. Did you watch it on a borrowed computer, too...maybe while sitting in a Starbucks parking lot using their wifi?

Or is your internet package super reasonably priced? Let me know your carrier because my internet package is expensive. I know you wouldn't actually PAY for an inferior service.

If you don't like the product, why watch at all?? By the way, after last nights fights I'm five bucks short on my mortgage payment...any help? Phone Post 3.0

Last I checked you can't download a car. I buy stuff too, but if somebody offered me something horribly overpriced I wouldn't buy it.

Sorry, but Internet > Dana White. That is a fact and always will be, but Dana can't accept that.
So what you're saying is you'll just take what's free whenever you can? If you have the option to take or buy, you'll take rather than hand over your hard earned cash? Most people would, I suppose. I like to watch fights on my LCD and DVR it to rewatch at my leisure. Unless you have a fancy laptop (some might argue overpriced, citing the gauging computer companies engage in...makes Dana look like child's play) you're not streaming an HD image that's smooth, no lag or crashes. I buy the ppv and pay the extra for HD. Why? Because I can and I choose to. Doesn't break my bank account.

Am I the only guy on these forums who can afford a monthly ppv and still keep the lights on? Phone Post 3.0

Bro, you gotta go to Italy. Just to eat at Felice e Teatacchio in Rome. It's the best Eva Phone Post 3.0

Who'd pay all that money? Tourism boards just want to stick it to the hard working, middle class.

I'd rather stow away on a ship than pay. Phone Post 3.0

I am math professor at a major university so I do indeed have a salary and buy things.

However, I won't buy something that is overpriced. Just because you are rich enough to cough over the thousands it takes to view every PPV doesnt mean that some of us hard working contributing members of society can.

I'd totally buy it if it were reasonably priced, but its not, so I won't be reasonable with them. They should be lowering PPV prices, not raising them.
I hear you. But I'd challenge you saying you buy PLENTY of overpriced shit. I guarantee you have things that others don't find "worthwhile" that you bought and paid for. It's about choice. Don't buy the ppv, but I take issue when poster decry the folks who do buy them as foolish, like we're getting swindled and don't know it.

We make decisions like every consumer. Do I want it? Can I afford it? Is it worth the price? You're answers won't always line up with others' but it's no more or less valid. Phone Post 3.0

The tourism board never fired Sakara on Christmas. I'll pay the Gringo price, but not to people who do things like that. Phone Post 3.0

It's not the $5. I greased the ticket taker at Wolf of Wall St. $5 to hold tickets for my friends so I could save us seats. It's the principle of getting a crappier product for more money. I can't get with that.

Normally your guess would be correct, but I happen to be a minimalist. Everything I own I can literally carry on me (well minus the mattress and a chair I have, refrigerator, etc but you get the point).

I do have the choice to buy things. And I wont buy an overpriced PPV, especially not when they raise the price when its already overpriced.

I want to watch every PPV but its impossible to do so by buying them because they raise prices and have MORE of them. With more events the price of PPV cards should drop.

The real issue is the guy who makes <5$ an hour after taxes and people like you and Dana White are like "WTF I can afford this shit and still piss in a golden toilet and wipe my ass with 20$'s, Why dont you get a job or already be rich or have billionaire friends or something... Sheesh."
That's a leap. I'm not rich, I don't piss in golden toilets. Clearly you're not a minimalist, you're a hyperbolist. Keep on keeping on... Phone Post 3.0

You compared my lifestyle to Dana White. Clearly you ARE a math teacher because you don't grasp the English language very well. You used hyperbole, just as I stated. You exaggerated my choosing to pay five extra dollars into this whole "holier than thou" argument pitting your minimalist lifestyle against mine. You know nothing about my lifestyle.

Do you consider the word hyperbole name calling? Why did you get so angry? Phone Post 3.0
