Both the UFC and Manchester United's annual turnover is around 500 million - near enough the SAME! But thanks for supporting the rich who are keeping all the money when the fighters are shedding the blood, good for you shill.
Yeah I remember Lorenzo saying this at some UK sports conference LMAO
The top players in for Teams like United, Manchester City Liverpool Chelsea earn between $155,000- $310,000 that's excluding contractual game bonuses I.e goal, assist, appearance
stringtheory - Ufc are not bigger than Manchester United.Based on Forbes 2015 Rich List Man Utd have an estimated value of $1.86 billion, with an estimated 333 million supporters worldwide and 17 million Facebook followers. Old Trafford, Man Utd's stadium, holds in excess of 75k people which is pretty much full to capacity every week. I know...I had a season ticket!
Which part of this is dwarfed by the UFC?
Betwithme - But. But I thought the UFC is going down? Revenue and ppvs are lower than ever!
You have no clue how much the UFC makes so you can't say if they are greedy or not.
A main eventer billion dollar company just got paid 12grand. What don't you get? The wages for the fighters are not fair, it's plain and simple.
United have an estimated 600m fans worldwide. Sorry, but MMA is nowhere near that level, yet.
Man Utd Are a global colossus. Garry Cook more than anyone will know this from his time at Man City...
First off..you're comparing a football team to the UFC, its like saying the UFC is bigger than the Seahawks (or whatever big NFL team there is).
The UFC is not even close to a team in terms of revenue, let alone a league, like the premier league.
stringtheory -Yeah I did quote the right person..........I just unfortunately failed to read your post properly haha oopsy!UK Rampage -I said the UFC is not bigger? Manchester United are one of the most famous clubs in the most famous and popular sport on the planet. They sell near 80000 every time they play at old Trafford. They have a huge history and are supported by generations of people. They dwarf the UFC.
Yeah per week
Betwithme - The UFC is very fair. If you are worth something to them. Like any business they reward people that do a good job.
People that lose, fight boring, complain. They won't be treated as well.
Conor had a mediocre record coming in He made his own opportunities and now is probably the highest paid fighter in under 2 years. UFC provides opportunities, it's up to the fighters to use them.
A mediocre record? He was a 2 weight world champion lol

According to S&P, Zuffa, LLC had $1 million of availability under its $50 million revolving credit facility as of June 30th, 2011.
The company also has a $425 million term loan due in 2015.
S&P is confident that Zuffa, LLC will be able to meet its loan obligations over the near-term.
Why does the UFC have an outstanding $425 million loan? Due to their private structure, the UFC doesn?t have to tell us, but you can guess that it likely has something to do with the purchases of rival promotions such as PRIDE, WEC and Strikeforce over the past number of years. Thanks to these purchases, the UFC basically has zero competition at this point.
