The UFC knew Heath Herring could NOT, imo.

LAys on them is right.. He has not real skill. Get him against someone like Kongo or Arlovski. them move well and are very skilled fighters. I think they would knock him out.

^^big deal about laying on them to win..Randy Couture spent 90% of his fights laying on people and no one complained aboput that...its lesnars second fight, he will learn to fight..

brock would put them all on queer street and donkey kong their asses!

Jaketyler....Did you just say Vera could beat Brock??? Put the crack pipe down..

He layed and prayed Herring alot in that fight.

That being said, its mostly because of his inexperience.
Rashad and Koscheck layed and prayed in alot of their earlier fights. Wrestlers tend to do that at first.

He just needs some more training and to learn how to finish.
He obviously doesnt know many submissions, or doesnt dare expose himself by going for them, and his ground and pound wasnt very vicious.

I liked the knees he was throwing on the ground though.

Once he becomes a finisher, look the fuck out, imo.

Results of lay n' pray technique without vicious ground and pound skillz.

yeah I was watching this in HD, you could see cuts on top of cuts lol

very good ts very good. jake obrien 2.0 wont last long

Nog would twist his arm off in a quarter of a round.

I'd like to see him fight Sanchez or Kongo next.

lol @ acting like Herring is the worst in the division.

JakeTyler - He never had his back, he had the referee's position.
lol

BJ > DORKUS -  lol @ acting like Herring is the worst in the division.

No, I'm saying that the UFC knew Herring could NOT beat Lesnar. Everyone else on that list has at the very least SOME takedown defense. lol

That photo is not from last nite.

Herring was not at the postfight press conference (therefore not at the microphone). Also, he had a mohawk last night, and you can see green on the sides of his head in that picture. That photo was taken after the Nog fight I believe.

rmbjj - shane carwin can beat his ass too. i really want to see them matched up next.

word!

Gonzaga.

cain will destroy all ufc hwts..he will have lesner tired by the end of the first round

I would hardly call it lay n pray, he was fuckin up heath with those hammer first

"If Vera wouldn't submit him, he would knock the shit out of him"

Just like he did to the 5'9" wrestler he just fought who weighed about 80lb less than Lesnar.

He went for a ground and pound finish against Mir and got caught. He was a LOT more cautious this time so as not to make a mistake and get caught in a submission again. I think he'll start finishing fights soon.
